Have I ever told you about my friend Sarah M.?

She's quite lovely and incredibly talented.  She also took a lot of time out of her busy days to cook for and entertain us during my days of bedrest'dom.  She, along with so many friends and family, gets partial credit for Elgin's healthy arrival.

Yesterday, she came over to take some pictures of Elgin, and we ended up having a full on family shoot.  Here's a preview since it's in keeping with the one week festivities...

Only Sarah would swipe this hat off our bedroom dresser and immediately know to work in this quirk for my family.
