Turns out that, during a language arts group activity, H gave the class monster an extra appendage, but "we just turned it into three feet, instead." I asked Ms. Susan about it, and she had no idea that the third foot was actually something else. Ms. Kelly did know, though, and it was her idea to change the anatomy.
I gave the class artwork collaborative a critical look this afternoon, and I would say that it looks a little different than a foot.
