Eggstravagant Eggstravaganza

It was Henry's second time to help eggshaust Advent's Easter egg supply, and he had an eggstremely good time this year!  You just can't beat an eggceptional lunch of your choice, PB&J or chicken sandwich, followed by Pastor Beverly's eggsplanation of the Easter egg symbol.  (Note that his buddy Ella is in front of him.  Wherever she goes, Henry is sure to follow her eggsample.)
Henry went straight to work, eggsacting a well-developed hunting plan...
gathering an eggsorbitant amount of eggs in his arms and then insisting that someone else to bring his basket over.
Then he moved onto a more precise eggsamination, selecting the light pink eggs to balance among the more eggsotic colors.

The final result was an eggseptionally full basket of eggs that were used to eggschange for a bag of delicious candy that Henry can actually eat this year since he's had so much candy eggsposure at this point in his life.

He was eggshausted, again, this year, and easily slipped into a nap upon our arrival home.

Another eggceptional Hughes family eggsperience!

Spring! You're Here!

We were waiting for you, Spring.
We embarked on a photo session at Legacy park just before the crowds started this morning, then we dressed down for some slide time.
Then dinner with friends.  I love to see these two play.
Happy Spring, everyone!

Zzzzzzzzoo

We spent the last three Saturday mornings at the Greenville Zoo where Henry chats about and observes animals most of the animals...
... then wears himself out on the toddler sized playground.
Thank you, Grandjane and Grandjoe for the membership and the easy access to Saturday afternoon zzzzzzzz's.

Spring Break!

Elizabeth was home for her spring break this year.   We celebrated with an ice cream...
... and drinks
 and some dancing.
Then, tonight, Elizabeth gifted Henry with a new Thomas the Tank Engine movie.
Henry loved the movie and time with Elizabeth.  She was also kind enough to read some books to him and put him to bed tonight.  He's going to miss her tomorrow.

Harumph

Thanks!

Thanks, weather, for this afternoon.  Thank you, clouds, for your shapes and resemblance to "s'moke."
Thank you, Daddy, for taking our picture.
Thank you, God, for a little more recharging time.
